Abstract: ATCOPIA65A_I is an internal region of the ATCOPIA65A Copia-like endogenous retrovirus flanked by the 9% divergent ATCOPIA65ALTR long terminal repeats, and by a 5-bp target-site duplication. There is 88% identity between ATCOPIA65A_I and ATCOPIA65_I.
