Abstract:
ATDNA2T9A is a non-autonomous DNA transposon. ATDNA2T9A copies are flanked by 9-bp target site duplications generated upon its integration in the genome. There are 4 copies of ATDNA2T9A in the genome; one of them is 95% and the other three copies are 99% identical to the consensus sequence, respectively. An autonomous transposon involved in a proliferation of ATDNA2T9A is expected to be related to VANDAL-like megatransposons.
