Abstract:
ATHILA8BLTR is a long terminal repeat from the ATHILA8B endogenous retrovirus. There are ~10 copies of ATHILA8BLTR in the genome; they are ~95% identical to the consensus sequence. Solo LTRs and proviral copies are flanked by 5-bp target-site duplications. There is a 78% identity between the ATHILA8BLTR and ATHILA8ALTR consensus sequences. See comments for ATHILA8B_I.
