Abstract:
This element is characterized by 13-bp terminal inverted repeats and the TA targets site duplications. Its classification is not certain yet, although it is expected to be a member of the Mariner/Tc1 superfamily. There are several thousand copies of DNA13TA1_DR present in the zebrafish genome; they are ~85% identical with the consensus sequence. Unclassified version of DNA13TA1_DR was identified as Dr000073 [1].
