Abstract:
HATN13_DR is a family of nonautonomous DNA transposons that belongs to the hAT superfamily [3]. Several thousand copies of HATN13_DR are expected to populate the zebrafish genome. The element was active long time ago, its copies are ~13% divergent from the consensus sequence. This element is characterized by 8-bp target site duplications and perfect 15-bp terminal inverted repeats.
