Abstract:
HATN15_DR is a family of nonautonomous DNA transposons that belongs to the hAT superfamily [2]. Several hundred copies of HATN15_DR are expected to populate the zebrafish genome. The element was active long time ago, its copies are ~9% divergent from the consensus sequence. This element is characterized by 8-bp target site duplications and 11-bp terminal inverted repeats.
