Title:
MARINERN7_AG: a family of nonautonomous mariner/Tc1-like DNA transposons from African malaria mosquito.
Journal:
Repbase Reports 3(2), 24-24 (2003)
Abstract:
There are ~500 copies of MARINERN7_AG in the genome (multiple subfamilies), they are ~95% identical to the consensus sequence. MARINERN7_AG copies are flanked by the TA target site duplications. This element has 23-bp terminal inverted repeats. Classification: a nonautonomous Mariner/Tc1-like DNA transposon.
