Title:
MARINERN12_AG: a family of nonautonomous mariner/Tc1-like DNA transposons from African malaria mosquito.
Journal:
Repbase Reports 3(3), 63-63 (2003)
Abstract:
There are ~20 copies of MARINERN12_AG in the genome, they are ~11% identical to the consensus sequence. MARINERN12_AG copies are flanked by the TA target site duplications. The consensus sequence forms an imperfect palindrome. Putative classification: a nonautonomous Mariner/Tc1-like DNA transposon.
