Title:
HAT3_CI, a family of autonomous hAT DNA transposons from the sea squirt Ciona intestinalis.
Journal:
Repbase Reports 3(6), 103-103 (2003)
Abstract:
HAT3_CI is a family of autonomous elements related to the hAT superfamily. HAT3_CI encodes a 428-aa remnant of the HAT3_CIp transposase (positions 661-1944). HAT3_CI is flanked by 15-bp terminal inverted repeats (4 mismatches) and 8-bp target site duplications. The nonautonomous HATN5_CI is a deletion derivate of an autonomous element 80% identical to HAT3_CI.
