Title:
HATN2_CI, a family of nonautonomous hAT DNA transposons from the sea squirt Ciona intestinalis.
Journal:
Repbase Reports 3(6), 109-109 (2003)
Abstract:
HATN2_CI is a family of nonautonomous elements related to the hAT superfamily. There are ~100 HATN2_CI elements in the C. intestinalis genome, they are 98% identical to the consensus. There are also several hundred elements that are 65-85% identical to HATN2_CI and represent several young subfamilies related to it. HATN2_CI i flanked by 14-bp terminal inverted repeats (1 mismatch).
