Title:
HATN5_CI, a family of nonautonomous hAT DNA transposons from the sea squirt Ciona intestinalis.
Journal:
Repbase Reports 3(6), 112-112 (2003)
Abstract:
HATN5_CI is a family of nonautonomous elements related to the hAT superfamily. There are ~50 HATN5_CI elements in the C. intestinalis genome, they are 98% identical to the consensus. HATN5_CI has 15-bp terminal inverted repeats. HATN5_CI is characterized by the target site specificity, its copies are flanked by the NNNTANNN target site duplications.
