Title:
Harbinger2_TP, a family of autonomous Harbinger-like DNA transposons from diatom Thalassiosira pseudonana.
Journal:
Repbase Reports 3(7), 135-135 (2003)
Abstract:
Harbinger2_TP copies are ~95% identical to the consensus sequence, they are flanked by the TTA 3-bp target site duplications. This transposon has 43-bp terminal inverted repeats (1 mismatch). Harbinger2_TP encodes the 470-aa Harbinger2_TP1p transposase (pos. 298-1707) and the 486-aa Harbinger2_TP2p DNA binding protein (pos. 3224-1767).
