Abstract:
Gypsy11-I_DR is an internal portion of the Gypsy11_DR LTR retrotransposon that belongs to the Gypsy superfamily. Its long terminal repeat is deposited in Repbase as Gypsy11-LTR_DR. Gypsy11_DR is characterized by 4-bp target site duplications. The internal portion encodes one 2006-aa polyprotein composed of gag, protease, reverse transcriptase, and integrase domains (pos. 132-6149). PBS is complementary to Pro-tRNA.
