Abstract:
The consensus sequence was reconstructed from the Ensembl genome annotation. Copies are 98% identical to the consensus. MARINER55_CB contains 165bp-long TIRs and is flanked by TA target site duplications. MARINER55_CB encodes 357 aa transposase similar to TCB2 and TCB1 elements. The consensus is derived from the only autonomous copy (apparently) presented in the genome.
