Title: L1-4_CR, a family of L1-like non-LTR retrotransposons from the green algae genome. |

Journal: Repbase Reports 4(2), 42-42 (2004) |

Abstract: The L1-4_CR elements are flanked by 5-12-bp target site duplications. There are several hundred copies of L1-4_CR present in the genome. They are massively truncated at 5'. Many elements are just 20-50 bp long 3' terminal portions. The consensus is not complete at its 5' end. Some copies are identical.
