Title: MERLIN5_CB - a family of nonautonomous DNA transposons. |
Journal: Repbase Reports 4(6), 185-185 (2004) |
Abstract: The consensus sequence was reconstructed from the Ensembl genome annotation. Copies are 98% identical to the consensus. MERLIN5_CB contains 135bp-long TIRs and is flanked by 9bp target duplications. Distantly similar to Merlin1_CB, MERLIN2_CB and MERLIN4_CB, but they all are flanked by 8bp target duplications.
