Abstract:
The consensus sequence was reconstructed from the Ensembl genome annotation. Copies are 96% identical to the consensus. HAT8_CB contains 15bp-long TIRs and is flanked by 8bp target duplications. The internal part shares weak translated similarity to HOMER and ATHAT3 hAT elements. Distantly related to HAT9_CB and HAT10_CB.
