Abstract: CR1-2_SP is a family of CR1 non-LTR retrotransposons. The consensus sequence represents the 3' terminal portion of the autonomous CR1-2_SP retrotransposon. It encodes the C-terminal portion of reverse transcriptase. The 3' terminus is composed of the (TCAAT) microsatellite.
