Abstract:
The consensus sequence was reconstructed from the Ensembl genome annotation. Copies are ~95% identical to the consensus and flanked by 4bp target duplications. GYPSY4-LTR_CB is 76% similar to GYPSY3-LTR_CB. GYPSY4-I_CB thus appears to be a nonautonomous family related to GYPSY3_CB.
