Title: MARINER43_CB - a family of mariner/Tc1-like transposons. |
Journal: Repbase Reports 4(9), 238-238 (2004) |
Abstract: The consensus sequence was reconstructed from the Ensembl genome annotation. Copies are 97% identical to the consensus. MARINER43_CB contains 319bp-long TIRs and is flanked by TA target duplications. The internal sequence bears a full-length similarity to Tc3 transposase, however, no complete ORF found in the genome. The family might have been autonomous in the past.
