Title:
DNA-4-1_SP, a family of nonautonomous DNA transposon in the sea urchin genome.
Journal:
Repbase Reports 5(10), 304-304 (2005)
Abstract:
The genome contains several thousand copies of DNA-4-1_SP elements that are ~98% identical to their consensus sequence. Numerous copies are 100% identical to each other. These elements are characterized by 4-bp target site duplications (AWWT) and 31-bp terminal inverted repeats. Classification is unknown.
