Abstract:
There are no intact copies surviving in the Monodelphis genome. The largest fragments, which span >4kb, are around 88% similar to the consensus. The corresponding LTR is ERV13_MD_LTR. This consensus was reconstructed from the June 2005 release of the 6.8X WGS sequence.
