Abstract:
Around 20 full length copies of this internal region in the genome have average similarity to consensus of ~95-96%. Despite this, no intact ORFs were reconstructed. The 465 LTR is ERV21_MD_LTR. Elements are flanked by 4 bp TSDs. This consensus was reconstructed from the June 2005 release of the 6.8X WGS sequence.
