ERV31_MD, a class 1 endogenous retrovirus from the opossum M. domestica.

Abstract:
ERV31_MD is an incomplete endogenous retroviral sequence, with indeterminate LTRs. Copies are ~89% identical to the consensus. A portion of the fragmented coding region is reported. This consensus was reconstructed from the June 2005 release of the 6.8X WGS sequence.
