Title: NonLTR-4_CR, a family of non-LTR retrotransposons from the green algae genome. |
Journal: Repbase Reports 5(3), 65-65 (2005) |
Abstract: The NonLTR-4_CR elements are flanked by 5-15 bp target site duplications. 5'-CT is always a 5' terminus of any target site duplication. The consensus is not complete at its 5' end. Because of frequent 5' truncations, a coding portion is unknown. NonLTR-4_CR elements are >95% identical to the consensus sequence.
