Title:
SINE2-4_SP, a family of SINE2 retrotransposons in the sea urchin genome.
Journal:
Repbase Reports 5(6), 161-161 (2005)
Abstract:
SINE2-4c_SP is a subfamily of SINE2-4_SP (the consensus sequences are 79% identical to each other). The genome harbors several hundred copies of SINE2-4c_SP elements that are ~88% identical to the SINE2-4c_SP consensus sequence. This subfamily was originally reported in [1] as SURF1.
