Title: Harbinger-N15_XT, a family of nonautonomous Harbinger DNA transposons from frog. |

Journal: Repbase Reports 6(11), 565-565 (2006) |

Abstract: The genome contains several hundred copies of the Harbinger-N15_XT nonautonomous DNA transposon, which is characterized by the 3-bp TWA target site duplications. Transposon copies are ~3% divergent from the consensus sequence. This non-autonomous element is a deletion derivative of the autonomous Harbinger-4_XT.
