Abstract:
The internal region is flanked by LTRs. The internal region sequence codes for GAG protein and RT polymerase polyprotein, with two different ORFs. The GAG region is poorly conserved. The RT polymerase polyprotein has conserved domains for Arginine methyl transferase, RT polymerase as well as integrase.
