Abstract:
An autonomous Mariner DNA transposon from Monodelphis. The element has 39 bp imperfect TIRs, and TA target site duplications. The transposase ORF is not perfectly reconstructed. Copies in the genome are around 80% similar to the consensus. This entry was reconstructed from the June 2005 release of the 6.8X WGS sequence.
