Abstract:
LTR31_MD is a non-autonomous LTR element, probably of an ERV. Average similarity of copies to the consensus is around 90%. The internal region corresponding to this LTR is unknown. This consensus was reconstructed from the June 2005 release of the 6.8X WGS sequence.
