Title: hAT-10_XT, a family of autonomous hAT DNA transposons from frog. |
Journal: Repbase Reports 6(8), 407-407 (2006) |
Abstract: hAT-10_XT elements form an autonomous family of hAT DNA transposons characterized by 8-bp TSDs and 14-bp TIRs (2 mismatches). The genome harbors >10 copies of hAT-10_XT (~95% identical to the consensus). The consensus sequence encodes a 1033-aa hAT-10_XTp protein composed of the BED zinc-finger and transposase (related to the BED4 protein conserved in vertebrates).
