Title:
hAT-6_XT, a family of autonomous hAT DNA transposons from frog.
Journal:
Repbase Reports 6(8), 415-415 (2006)
Abstract:
hAT-6_XT elements form a young autonomous family of hAT DNA transposons characterized by 8-bp TSDs and 15-bp TIRs (3 mismatches). The genome harbors only several copies of hAT-6_XT (~96% identical to the consensus). The consensus sequence encodes a transposase corrupted by mutations.
