Abstract:
Harbinger-N5A_NV is a consensus sequence of a subfamily of the non-autonomous Harbinger-N5_NV. The Harbinger-N5A_NV transposon is characterized by 30-bp imperfect TIRs and 3-bp target site duplications. Its internal portion contains an array of the MSAT3_NV minisatellite (only the single unit MSAT3_NV is present in Harbinger-5_NV).
