Abstract: Kolobok-N18_NV is a consensus sequence of a family of non-autonomous Kolobok transposons. The Kolobok-N18_NV transposon is characterized by 46-bp TIRs and TTAA target site duplications. This family is composed of ~200 elements that are >15% divergent from the consensus sequence.
