Abstract: 21% Pos 1-1627 were not derived for this subfamily and are taken from CR1-X1. Complete pol ORF at pos 1421-4336 encodes a protein 70% identical (80% sim) to chicken CR1-X pol. There are many CR1 copies in chicken that match CR1-X3_Pass better than the current chicken CR1-X consensi, but many X3 copies are precisely absent and (so far) none are present at orthologous sites in chicken.
