Title:
hATw-type DNA transposons from Hydra magnipapillata.
Journal:
Repbase Reports 9(2), 418-418 (2009)
Abstract:
The consensus was buit from several copies which are ~97 % identical to the consensus. It is characterized by 7-bp TSD and 11-bp imperfect TIRs. The hATw transposons belong to a distinct hAT group which encodes transposases which are distantly related to other hAT transposases. hATw elements identified so far produce 7-bp TSD. This sequence was derived from sequence data generated by TIGR, J Craig Venter Institute.
