Abstract:
The region of mouse chromosome 6 (build 37.1, reference assembly C57BL/6J, NC_000072) located at 114,441,515-114,587,670 contains 60 tandem copies of a pattern with average lenght 2400 bps. The pattern consists of three conservative (98% similarity) parts separated by low complexity insertions of variable length. The general scheme of periodicity is as follows: (CA)n core1 (CT)m core2 (CT)k core3, where 12 <= n <= 40, 30 <= m <= 166, k = 12, and conservative parts core1, core2 and core3 are of the maximum lengths respectively 88, 663 and 1566.
