Abstract: >90% identical to consensus. 8-bp TSDs. TIRs are ~130 bp long and composed by degenerate repeats. Related non-autonomous elements, named Shinagawa, are found in Aedes aegypti and Culex quinquefasciatus. The insertion of DNA-TA-8_AAe-like transposon around 272 and that of DNA-TA-4_AAe-like transposon around 1627 are eliminated from the consensus.
