Abstract:
~95% identical to consensus. ~8-bp TSDs. TIRs are ~120 bp long and composed by degenerate repeats. Related non-autonomous elements, named Shinagawa, are found in Aedes aegypti and Culex quinquefasciatus. Sequence 1405-1659 is ~75% identical to FEILAI-1B_AAe; indicating it is a composite transposon.
