Title:
DNA transposons from the red seaweed.
Journal:
Repbase Reports 19(5), 755-755 (2019)
Abstract:
~94% identical to consensus. TSDs are 8-bp long. TIRs are 30-bp long. DNA-18A_CCri is assumed older than DNA-18_CCri, which is much longer due to captureing other fragment. There are at least two complete copies of DNA-18_CCri in the genome, one of which has anoter TE insertion, whereas at least 3 or 4 copies of DNA-18A_CCri in the genome.
