Title: Retroposons in human genome. |

Journal: Repbase Reports 21(5), 2798-2798 (2021) |
|||
Abstract: >6 copies in the genome, each >96% identical to the consensus. At least 4 out of the 6 are flanked by ~15-bp TSDs. The 3'-end is polyA tract, the 5UTR or promoter (if internal promoter) region of the retroposon is uncharacterized, showing no significant similarity to other Non-LTR retrotrasposons so far, even though the 600-1670 region is tandem found in SVA_A (or_B,C,D).
